Dallas Baptist Baseball Tops OSU 7-4
STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Ryan Behmanesh hit a tie-breaking home run to help lead Dallas Baptist to a 7-4 victory over Oklahoma State in a non-conference game in Dallas.
The Patriots (37-16) were leading 4-2 when the Cowboys (32-20) rallied in the sixth on Mark Ginther's two-run single Tuesday.
After Behmanesh's homer, Kenny Hatcher added an RBI to move Dallas Baptist ahead 6-4 and the Patriots got its final run off Joel Hutter's RBI in the seventh.
Behmanesh was 2-for-4 and Austin Elkins had a homer for Dallas Baptist. Ginther had two RBIs for Oklahoma State.
Reliever Michael Smith (3-1) allowed three hits and no runs in three innings for the Patriots. Stuart Pudenz earned his seventh save.
Kenton Bevacqua (1-1) allowed two hits and one run in 3 2-3 innings for the Cowboys.
