Crews Battle Restaurant Fire In Dallas
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Firefighters battled a blaze at a restaurant in northwest Dallas on Tuesday morning. Crews were first called to the scene at about 5:30 a.m. after reports of flames and smoke at Babe's Sports Lounge, located in the 3000 block of West Northwest Highway.
The flames and smoke were coming from the restaurant's back door. Firefighters cut holes into the building to help release smoke and gain better access to the fire. The blaze was extinguished rather quickly, with most of the structure still intact.
Investigators have now started trying to determine the cause of the fire. There were no reports of injuries.
