Connector Traffic Warned To Slow Down, Or Else
GRAPEVINE (CBSDFW.COM) - There's a new crackdown on speeders in that massive Grapevine freeway project.
The speed limit on the DFW Connector, where highways 114 and 121 meet just outside of DFW International Airport's North Gate, was dropped from 60 to 50 a month ago, but a lot of drivers aren't slowing down.
Grapevine Police Lieutenant Todd Dearing says the police department is out there writing tickets.

Dearing wants drivers to avoid texting and talking on cell phones as they make their way through the zig-zag lanes. Since it's a work zone, the fine on that ticket you get could be doubled.
