CARROLLTON (KRLD) - A week-and-a-half after a Garland man was stabbed to death after mistaking a killer for a Lyft driver, police are still looking for a suspect.

KRLD's L.P. Phillips says detectives are hoping a sketch will bring some tips.

Arnold Pinilla, 34, was murdered on July 31 in the 1000 block of Myers Street after him and his girlfriend accepted a ride from a suspect who they mistakenly believed to be a ride-share driver.

Today, police released a sketch of the suspect based on the description Pinilla's girlfriend gave them.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-30s with a light complexion. He is 5'3" to 5'6", with a slender build.

Police are also searching for the vehicle of interest in the picture below.

It's a while, 4-door sedan with a sunroof and tan cloth interior, possibly a 2000 to 2006 Nissan Altima.

If you have information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who committed this crime, you may receive a reward of up to $5,000. Contact North Texas Crime Stoppers with any
tips or information at (1-877-373-8477). All calls are anonymous.
