Bruce Springsteen, Jason Aldean To Headline March Madness Music Festival In Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- The Final Four is bringing more than college basketball's best teams to North Texas in April. It's also bringing in some big-name musical talent.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Killers, Tim McGraw and Jason Aldean are among the acts that will be performing at the 2014 NCAA March Madness Music Festival at Reunion Park in Dallas.

The free, three-day festival will kick off on April 4 and conclude on April 7. It is a non-ticketed event open to the public on a first come basis.

Additional musical acts will be announced soon. The current schedule of events is as follows:

Friday, April 4 - AT&T Block Party

-- Country star Jason Aldean headlining

-- Performances from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

-- Additional Performances and Highlights to Be Announced Soon

Saturday, April 5 - Coke Zero™ Countdown

-- Fan favorite Tim McGraw headlining the afternoon lineup

-- Live broadcast of the first semi-final game

-- Rock band The Killers headlining that evening, immediately following the live broadcast

-- Performances from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

-- Additional Performances and Highlights to Be Announced Soon

Sunday, April 6 - Capital One JamFest

-- fun. performing

-- Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will close the three-day festival

-- Performances from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Past events have attracted hundreds of thousands of fans and have featured musical acts such as Sting, Dave Matthews Band, Muse, The Kings of Leon, Zac Brown Band, Jimmy Buffett, KISS, The Black Keys, Kenny Chesney, Kid Rock, LL Cool J, and Taylor Swift, among many others.

The Final Four semifinals will be played on Saturday, April 5, with the finals on Monday, April 7 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
