Brodziansky Scores 19, TCU Beats Colgate 76-49

FORT WORTH (AP) — Vladimir Brodziansky scored eight of the game's first 15 points, and TCU never trailed in a 76-49 win over Colgate on Saturday night.
Brodziansky finished with 19 points. He opened the scoring 14 seconds into the game, and added 6 more points during an 8-0 run that gave the Horned Frogs a quick 13-2 advantage.
Despite playing just 9 minutes in the first half, Brodziansky scored 10 points. TCU led 37-19 at the break.
The Horned Frogs (4-3) dominated the boards in the first half, with 24 rebounds to Colgate's 11. Karviar Shepherd had 10 rebounds in his first 10 minutes on the court. He finished the game with 11.
Austin Tillotson led the Raiders (2-5) with 20 points on 7-for-14 shooting, including four 3-pointers. Dave Krmpotich added 10 before he fouled out in the final minute.
TCU's Brandon Parrish scored 14 points. Malique Trent led the Frogs with seven assists, to go with six points and six rebounds.
For the game, TCU shot 51 percent from the floor and controlled the glass 40-23.
Another 8-0 run in the second half stretched the Frogs' lead to 22 points, 50-28. Their largest lead was 28 points on JD Miller's free throw with 2:04 to play that made it 74-46.

Colgate: Alex Ramon did not start for the first time this season. Sean O'Brien took his place. Ramon played 23 minutes, scored six points and had three assists.
TCU: Chauncey Collins was a late scratch because of an injury. In his place, junior Michael Williams made his third career start. . Shepherd's career high of 16 rebounds came exactly 2 years earlier - Dec. 5, 2013, at Mississippi State.
