Best Fall Concerts In DFW

The lineup of concerts this fall in DFW offers a lot of different choices for music lovers. From pop to classic rock and everything in between, there are great artists covering the span of musical tastes. If you are looking to discover new artists, there are quite a few concerts for you or if you are one that loves to listen to the same artists you liked when you were a child, there are also classic rock and pop concerts with sounds from your childhood.

For those looking for more alternative concert options, fun. as well as Tegan and Sara will be performing in September. The band fun. originated in New York City and was formed by Nate Ruess. The band has released two albums and is best known for its songs "We Are Young," "Some Nights" and "Carry On." In February of 2013, the band won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Tegan and Sara are a Canadian indie rock band that was formed in 1995 and is made up of two women that are also identical twin sisters. Both play the keyboard, guitar and write their own songs.

The fall concert lineup will also include a lot of great pop artists, including Maroon 5. Maroon 5 originally formed in 1994 when the group's members were in high school and were know at Kara's Flowers. The group re-formed in 2001 and become known by its current name. The group's first big hit, "Harder to Breathe," is still stuck in people's heads today. In 2005, Maroon 5 won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The sound that is attributed to this band seems to change from album to album so it provides songs that please many different tastes.

Bon Jovi is one of the most iconic classic rock bands. The band is made up of lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres. The band has had 13 Top 40 hits including "Livin' On A Prayer" and "Bad Medicine." Bon Jovi has released 12 studio albums as well as live albums and other compilations. It is one of the best-selling bands of all time and has sold over 130 million records worldwide.

If you are into something a little different, you might enjoy MC Chris. He is known as a nerdcore rapper and combines nerdy themes with hip hop rhythms. MC Chris has released five albums and three EPs. He has appeared on and contributed lyrics to shows on television, most notably, "Aqua Teen Hunger Force." If you are looking for something unique and lots of fun, MC Chris will put on a great show.

Hanson is a pop-rock band originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and is made up of three brothers, Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson. They are best known for their hit from 1997, "MMMBop," which earned three Grammy nominations. The band has sold over 16 million records and has had six Top 40 singles in the US. The group has a new sound and now records under its own label. If you were a fan of this band when it first hit the music scene, this is a great way to take a trip down memory lane while also hearing a lot of new music.
