Feral Cats Closer To Having 9 Lives
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Arlington is considering passing a new, more humane policy to deal with feral cats.
A new proposal would allow non-profit rescue groups to sterilize and vaccinate trapped cats. The non-profits would then release the sterilized kitties back into their stomping grounds.
They city currently euthanizes most of the feral cats that end up in its animal shelter.
City council members will vote on the measure in August.
