Another Shot at More Rain

The more-than-enough rainfall from over the weekend has really brought up our rainfall surplus for the month and the year at DFW.

Many areas have seen even more rain than this.  We did have significant flooding in parts of North Texas Saturday, including downtown Dallas and the Whiterock area.

We do have another chance of rain Tuesday with a weak disturbance that will roll in from the northwest.  We're not expecting a repeat of flash flooding, as this system will be mainly lighter rain showers, with an isolated thunderstorm.  Rainfall totals should remain less than 1/2".  The best chance of rain Tuesday will be west of I-35/I-35W.

The weather today has been beautiful, with low humidity and cooler temps.  Temperatures will be below normal again on Tuesday with the added clouds and rain.  Look for readings to slowly climb back into the mid 90s by the end of the week.
