3rd Worst Drought in Texas History Rolls On
The latest information on the drought came out today and, as everyone knew, it wasn't encouraging. 98% of the state remains in drought.
State climatologist John Nielson-Gammon says this is now the third worse drought in state history. Water shortages are becoming a concern obviously. But the two worst droughts in Texas were preceded by several dry years too.
This is looking like it a worsening drought situation for Texas. The July temperature & precipitation outlook also came out today and calls for below normal rainfall & above normal temperatures in Texas.
