Mesquite Fatal Crash Victim ID'ed

MESQUITE (CBSDFW.COM) — The man killed in a car crash in Mesquite Sunday morning has been identified as 22-year-old Ivan Baca, according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner.
Baca, a Garland resident, was driving his car when it crashed into a tree in the median of the 1000 block of North Peachtree Road around 3:30 a.m., police say. Baca was pronounced dead on the scene. He was the only one in the car.
Police say it has not been determined whether alcohol, excessive speed or driver fatigue contributed to the crash.
