2 Injured After TRE Train Crashes Into Tractor Trailer
HALTOM CITY, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - Two people have been injured after a Trinity Railway Express train crashed into a tractor trailer Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened near Highway 121 and Haltom Road. According to officials, the trailer was stopped on the tracks for an unknown reason before it was hit.
Fort Worth police and fire crews responded to the scene. There were two injuries reported from the crash, but it is known if they came from the tractor trailer or the train.
Passengers of the train were taken by bus to nearby stations.
