100s Later This Week For DFW

After a nice stretch of below average temperatures late last week into this past weekend, the heat is back!  (Average high for this time of year is 97)

Temperatures will slowly climb into the upper 90s over the next few days.  And by the weekend, 100s will be with us.

TONIGHT'S FORECAST

Mostly clear and warm.  Temps in the 70s.

TUESDAY'S FORECAST

Mostly sunny and hot.  Temps in the mid 90s.

There will be a small rain chance for the far southern areas of North Texas.  But that rain chance is pretty small.

SMALL RAIN CHANCE FOR DFW AREA ON THURSDAY

A weak disturbance will move overhead Thursday, which could trigger an isolated shower/storm on Thursday.  Coverage will be low so most of us miss out on rain chances.

WEEKEND HEAT

After that disturbance moves out, the heat builds for the weekend.  Highs will likely make it to 100 degrees Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
