Aaron Dean, the former Fort Worth police officer charged with the murder of Atatiana Jefferson, now knows when his trial will begin.
Dean's trial, which was set for Nov. 16, now will not go to trial before Nov. 29, although it could be set for a later date.
Family members of Atatiana Jefferson have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the former officer and the city of Fort Worth.
The former Fort Worth police officer who shot and killed Atatiana Jefferson, in her home as she played video games with her nephew, has been indicted for murder.
