Rolling Stone writer Barry Walters, author of the music history "Mighty Real," says the latest ballad by British singer Sam Smith is a step forward from LGBTQ love songs being marginalized.
"Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in," wrote the singer on Instagram.
The duo took home the award for their hit single, "Unholy," which they performed during the awards ceremony.
