Trump maintains Iowa lead amid legal issues

Donald Trump's campaign claimed the Justice Department is trying to interfere with the 2024 presidential election, as the special counsel indicted him on charges related to Jan. 6 and the 2020 election. The former president's poll numbers remain strong in the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa. GOP reacts to Hunter Biden plea deal collapse

A plea agreement between federal prosecutors and Hunter Biden fell apart Wednesday. The judge refused to sign off on a deal that would have seen the president's son enter guilty pleas to two misdemeanor tax charges and enter a diversion program in lieu of pleading guilty to a felony gun possession count.
