James and Jennifer Crumbley pleaded not guilty to four counts of involuntary manslaughter on Saturday. They are charged in connection to Tuesday's high school shooting in Oxford, Michigan, which killed four students and wounded seven others. Their son, the suspect in the shooting, faces two dozen charges himself. CBS News' Michael George reports, and CBS News legal contributor Jessica Levinson joins CBSN with analysis.
James and Jennifer Crumbley are being held on $500,000 bond each.
The parents of accused school shooter Ethan Crumbley could be criminally charged as soon as Friday. The Oakland County prosecutor told CBS News' Nancy Chen the shooting "could have been prevented."
Four people were killed and seven others were wounded in the shooting. Authorities have not yet identified a motive.
