San Francisco Sheriff’s Office warns Bay Area communities of deputy scam artists

Sheriff Paul Miyamoto joins the Morning Edition to warn those in the community of people pretending to be in the force scamming individuals over the phone by demanding money. Sheriff Miyamoto highlights the efforts in the fentanyl crisis with the Emergency Services Unit and the events the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office is holding to build bridges connecting with the Bay Area communities.
