Oakland police seek expanded use of automated surveillance camera network

Oakland police credit a network of surveillance cameras for the quick arrest in the shooting of Laney College athletic director John Beam. Now there is a push to expand the city's automated camera system to track suspects and solve crimes. Brad Hamilton reports.
