Commercial shoot highlights San Francisco's growing appeal to filmmakers
San Francisco locals and tourists alike were pleasantly surprised Friday to stumble upon a film shoot in North Beach. The shoot was for a commercial, but Film SF, the department in charge of attracting and permitting productions in the city, says interest in filming all sorts of projects is on the rise.
