Woman, Child Rescued From Burning San Pablo Apartment
SAN PABLO (CBS SF) - A woman and a child were rescued early Tuesday morning after a fire broke out in their apartment in unincorporated San Pablo, a fire dispatcher said.
The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District received a report of the fire shortly before 2 a.m. at the Hilltop Commons apartments at 15718 Crestwood Drive.
The blaze appears to have started in the oven and was controlled by the apartment's sprinkler system, the dispatcher said. Firefighters had it out by 2:18 a.m.
