Vallejo officers arrested two juveniles accused of armed carjacking in the city on Monday, according to police.

Officers said that they learned about an armed carjacking on the 100 block of Larissa Lane in south Vallejo, where two females reported being held at gunpoint by multiple male suspects.

The victims said their vehicle was blocked in a parking stall by the suspects, who were using two cars. The victims were told to get out of their vehicle, and the suspects drove away in it, followed by the other two suspect vehicles, police said.

Officers later found the stolen vehicle unoccupied near Kissel Alley and Sacramento Street. While police were transporting the victims to recover their vehicle, one of them recognized a car traveling in the area and said it was involved in the carjacking.

Police pulled over the suspect vehicle near Kentucky Street and Sonoma Boulevard, where they found two suspects inside the car. They were taken into custody after authorities got information that linked them to the carjacking.

A search of the suspects' vehicle reportedly led to the seizure of two loaded, unregistered firearms and stolen property belonging to the victims. Both suspects, who were unlicensed juveniles, were arrested on multiple suspected crimes.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Officer Sarah Phipps at sarah.phipps@cityofvallejo.net, or anonymously call the tip line at (800) 488-9383.
