Two Dead in Oakland Shootings
OAKLAND, Calif. (KCBS) - A pair of deadly shootings Monday night in separate Oakland neighborhoods left two men dead, police said.
The first shooting happened at about 9:20 p.m. in downtown Oakland near 13th Street and Broadway, a police dispatcher said.
The male victim was transported to a local hospital with gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead at 10:37 p.m.
An hour and a half later, a second shooting occurred near 34th and Ettie streets in Oakland near the southern border of Emeryville.
One male victim was pronounced dead at the scene by responding emergency technicians, the dispatcher said.
