Three Injured During Pair Of Oakland Shootings

OAKLAND (BCN) - A pair of shootings in Oakland Tuesday night injured three people, a police dispatcher said.

At 9:30 p.m., police responded to Eighth and Center streets, not far from the West Oakland BART station, where they found two victims who had been shot.

The victims were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital and are in stable condition, the dispatcher said.

Two hours later, at 11:23 p.m., another person was shot in the 1200 block of 52nd Avenue and sought treatment at a nearby hospital, the dispatcher said.

No suspects were in custody for either shooting as of Wedensday morning.
