Teenager Hurt In Redwood City Shooting

REDWOOD CITY (BCN) - Police were searching for a group of suspects involved in a Thursday night shooting that injured one man in Redwood City.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 3700 block of Rolison Road at about 7:45 p.m. and found an 18-year-old Redwood City man who had been shot in the torso and arm, police said.

The suspects, described only as four to six Hispanic males wearing dark clothing, were last seen running north on Rolison Road toward Annette Avenue.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, and police said early Friday morning that he was in stable condition.

A motive for the shooting was still unclear as of Friday morning, and police were asking anyone with information to contact the department at (650) 780-7100.
