SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)—The invites have gone out for a Facebook event next week in which the company plans to unveil what it has called the new home on Android.

Everything in the rumor-mill online indicates that it's going to be an Android cell phone centered on Facebook. People are going as far to call it the Facebook phone. This could be a phone that is really Facebook-centric. You could turn it on and right away it could take you to the Facebook home screen and that could also be the default messaging application.
