Showers, Possible Thunderstorms Likely In Bay Area Through Friday

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The Bay Area will likely see a big change in the weather, with some much-needed precipitation headed our way.

There is a significant chance of showers Thursday night and Friday night along with a chance of thunderstorms, too. It will be much cooler with highs in the mid 50s at the coast and low 60s inland.

Clouds were on the increase Thursday but the temps will stay fairly mild. Highs will be in the upper 50s to low 60s at the coast with 60s to low 70s inland.

It will be partly cloudy and dry on Saturday but there is a slight chance of a few more showers late Saturday night and early on Sunday.

Much warmer weather is expected next week with some temps headed into the mid 80s!
