San Jose Hit With String Of Violent Assaults
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Over just a few days, San Jose Police responded to multiple violent assault incidents.
Around 2:05 p.m. Saturday, police responded to report of a stabbing at the 1900 block of Orlando Drive, police said.
There, police found a 20-year-old male victim who refused to provide details about the incident, police said.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
At 1 p.m. Sunday police responded to reports of a stabbing at a residence on Higuera Road. The victim reportedly told police he was at a house party when he attempted to break up a fight and was assaulted and stabbed, police said.
The victim was driven to a local hospital in a private vehicle and treated for non-life threatening injures, police said.
In this case as well, the victim was uncooperative with officers and no one has been arrested, according to police.
On Monday, police responded to reports of a shooting at the 3200 block of Williamsburg Drive around 6:45 p.m., according to police.
The victim was apparently in his vehicle when he was shot, police said.
A suspect in the shooting, Juan Carlos Garcia-Arreola, 30, of San Jose, was arrested near the intersection of S. Winchester Boulevard and Williams Road around 8:40 p.m. booked him into the Santa Clara County Jail, according to police.
Police said they are still investigating the suspect's motive.
Around 11:20 p.m. on Monday night, police responded to a stabbing incident that occurred near S. White Road and Marten Avenue, police said.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
As in the majority of the past few cases, the victim was uncooperative, refusing to give a suspect description or details about how the crime occurred.
