San Jose Firefighters Rescue Injured Horse From Trailer Accident On Highway 85
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- One horse suffered moderate injuries following a traffic accident involving a trailer transporting horses on Highway 85 in South San Jose.
The accident was reported Monday morning near Cottle Road.
Upon arrival "firefighters quickly set about assessing the scene and assisting all in need, including the horses," according to Friends of San Jose Firefighters' Facebook page.
A San Jose Fire Department spokesperson said one horse suffered moderate injuries.No other injuries were reported.
