San Francisco Teen Reported Missing Returns Home

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A 14-year-old San Francisco girl who ran away from her Noe Valley home sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning returned home safe late Friday night, police said.

The parents of Emma Peacock awoke at 6 a.m. Friday and realized that their daughter was not at home, police said.

The couple was concerned because Emma had never run away before, police said.

She returned home safe Friday night. Police declined to provide additional information about the case.
