San Francisco Shooting Leaves 1 Dead
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A victim was found shot and killed in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Thursday night, police said.
Officers responded to the shooting in the 1800 block of Sunnydale Avenue at 9:50 p.m., police said.
One victim was found there suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. No further information about the victim or possible suspects was immediately available.
Another fatal shooting only blocks away happened less than two days earlier.
On Wednesday, at 5:26 a.m., a man was found shot in the 100 block of Blythdale Avenue, about two blocks from the 1800 block of Sunnydale Avenue.
That man, identified as Pinole resident Darius Williams, 22, was later pronounced dead at San Francisco General Hospital.
No arrests had been made in that shooting as of Thursday, police said.
