One Dead in Oakland Shooting

OAKLAND, Calif. (KCBS/BCN) _ Oakland police are looking for suspects in connection with a deadly shooting Saturday afternoon that left one man dead and another in critical condition.

Police say the shooting occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of 10th Street near Willow Street. Arriving officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to Highland Hospital. 26-year-old Walter Harris was pronounced dead a short time later. The other victim remains in critical condition.

Police are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting and if one or both men were targets of the attack.
