Narsai David Book Review: Authentic Jewish Cooking

(KCBS) - Joan Nathan has written so many books on Jewish cooking. Her latest one is called "Quiches, Kugels, and Couscous: My Search for Jewish Cooking in France." KCBS Food and Wine Editor Narsai David reviews this cookbook which includes some 200 recipes plus a lot of the stories behind the recipes which makes for interesting reading!

Some interesting recipes in the book are stuffed breast of veal with parsley and onions slowly braised, and bell peppers, eggplants and zucchini with a stuffing.

Narsai David is the KCBS Food and Wine Editor. He has been a successful restaurateur, chef, TV host, and columnist in the Bay Area spanning four decades.
