Menlo Park Teen Shot Dead Outside Home

MENLO PARK (CBS SF) -- A 19-year-old Menlo Park man was shot and killed outside a home early Saturday morning, police said.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of Madera Avenue at about 2:45 a.m. after receiving a report of gunfire nearby.

Arriving officers found the unresponsive teen, who had been shot at least once. He was transported to Stanford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The San Mateo County coroner's office has not released the victim's name, pending notification of his family.

No arrests have been made, and there was no suspect information available.
