BART service in the East Bay is recovering after a situation at Fruitvale Station on Monday morning.

Officials say a major medical emergency closed Fruitvale Station for around an hour.

As of around 8:30 a.m., BART says normal service has resumed on the Green and Blue lines.

Still, riders should expect residual delays of up to 20 minutes on the Berryessa Line as the system recovers from the closure.
