Man Wins $1 Million With Scratchers Ticket At 'Lucky' San Jose Liquor Store
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A brand new millionaire was made in San Jose on Monday.
A $10 50X The Cash Scratchers card earned Tien Sy Tonthat $1 million, according to California Lottery spokeswoman Donna Cordova.
Tonthat's winning ticket was purchased at JT Liquors at 2627 Senter Road in southeast San Jose. JT Liquors will receive a retailer bonus of $5,000 for selling the winning ticket.
The store is also currently on the California Lottery's list of "Lucky Retailers", meaning it has produced a number of lottery winners previously.
