Man Shot, Killed While Driving In Oakland

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A man was shot and killed while in a car driving by three suspects on an East Oakland sidewalk late Saturday night, an Oakland police officer said.

Three suspects shot into a passing vehicle while they stood on the sidewalk in the 8600 block of D Street around 11:45 p.m., Officer J. Moore said.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival, Moore said.

The suspects are not in custody and no suspect descriptions were available, Moore said.
