San Jose Shooting Leaves 1 Dead
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A man was fatally shot in south San Jose Saturday morning, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Nerdy Avenue around 2:40 a.m. and found a man believed to be in his 20s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspects had been identified and it was not known if the incident was gang-related, according to police.
This was the city's 24th homicide of the year.
