Man Identified In Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting In Sebastopol
SEBASTOPOL (KCBS)— Police investigators have now identified Pablo Perez Ramirez as the suspect killed in an officer-involved shooting in Sebastopol, Santa Rosa Police Lt. Craig Schwartz said Saturday.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. Thursday at an apartment complex on Fellers Lane when police responded to a frantic domestic dispute call. A woman claimed her ex-boyfriend was pounding on the back door.

Santa Rosa police were not involved in the shooting, but were asked by Sebastopol police to investigate as part of a protocol involving officer-involved shootings.
Ramirez, 25, a Petaluma resident was pronounced dead at the scene after officers said he threatened them with a gun. According to the San Jose Mercury News, the officer that shot the suspect was a 31-year veteran of the Sebastopol Police Department.
