Man Dies After Being Shot, Run Over By Car In Oakland

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating a Saturday afternoon murder in Oakland where one person died after being shot and run over by a car.

Officers responded to the 5700 block of Foothill Boulevard around 4:50 p.m. and found two people suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.

One of the victims, who had been run over by a car, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The other person was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Oakland police have not arrested anyone in connection with the murder, police said. No additional information was immediately available.
