(CBS NEWS) – Conan O'Brien learned this firsthand Thursday, after tweeting a joke about the former Secretary of State and his choice of Halloween costume.
Albright soon fired back with a joke of her own:
Zing!
Their back-and-forth continued, with O'Brien expressing delight over his "first Twitter war with a former secretary of state" and Albright warning him against getting into a war of words with a diplomat.
After that, the "Conan" host finally admitted Twitter war defeat, which Albright accepted graciously:
