Crash in Bay Area kills 2 San Joaquin County men
An early morning crash in Livermore left two men dead on Monday, police said.
Just before 6 a.m., a Ram pickup truck and a Honda crashed into each other on Isabel Avenue, between Vallecitos Road and Kalthoff Common, police said.
The two drivers died at the scene. Livermore Police identified them as a 49-year-old from Tracy and a 23-year-old from Manteca. The Tracy man was in the Ram, and the Manteca man was in the Honda, police said.
Police said the Ram driver was heading northbound, and the Honda was going southbound when the crash happened. The crash remains under investigation.
