LAPD Adds Tesla Model S To Its Fleet Of Police Cars
LOS ANGELES (CBS SF) -- The Los Angeles Police Department has added a Tesla to its fleet.
The department introduced the Model S sedan at a news conference September 11th in Los Angeles.
The department added the all-electric car from Palo Alto-based Tesla in its effort to transition to green energy vehicles.
A BMW i3 is also part of the department's fleet.
