Jake Peavy Makes No-Look Catch On The Mound, Fan Losses Her Food
Saturday's game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants was full of Not Top Plays but two of the plays really stood out.
It first started when a fan decided to try and catch a foul ball with her food tray — let's just say things didn't go as planned.
On the positive side she left the game with a great souvenir and this memory of a Vine, the bad news is that it cost her around $35 from the concession stand.
The other came in the fourth inning when pitcher Jake Peavy turned to argue a call from the ump and was almost plunked by the ball when catcher Buster Posey tossed it back.
You saw that correctly, the ball hits Peavys' shoulder and lands in his glove. Talk about insane accuracy by Posey — or extreme luck.
