Google's Project 'SkyBender' Tests Solar-Powered, 5G Internet Drones
MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS SF) -- Google is reportedly testing solar-powered drones that could deliver high-speed Internet from the air.
According to the Guardian, the 5G Internet from these drones could be 40-times faster than 4G Internet.
The Mountain View-based tech company is reportedly conducting exploratory test flights in New Mexico.
The project is code-named "SkyBender," according to the Guardian.
