Finally, A Plus Size Model Will Be Featured In 'Sports Illustrated'

The year is 2015, and we are finally getting our first plus-size model in the pages of this year's Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Issue. Write that down, this is history here.

Her name is Ashley Graham, and besides the fact that she is highly intelligent, she's also drop-dead gorgeous. "I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too," she said in a statement. "There is no reason to hide and every reason to flaunt."

The campaign, called #CurvesInBikinis is meant to help women feel comfortable about wearing swimsuits, hopefully ushering in a new era of body-positive attitudes for girls.
