Fatal Shooting, Collision On Highway 4 In Pittsburg
PITTSBURG (CBS SF) -- The California Highway Patrol has issued a Sig-alert for westbound state Highway 4 in Pittsburg after a fatal shooting and collision on the highway.
The roadway was closed at 8:59 p.m. at Loveridge Road.
A car reportedly ran off the highway, through a fence in the city of Pittsburg, according to the CHP.
Officers are in the area gathering evidence. Pittsburg police Capt. Ron Raman confirmed via email that police
are investigating a fatal shooting tonight, but did not provide additional details.
Westbound lanes were closed.
