Escaped Prisoner David Sweat Shot, Captured In New York
MALONE, N.Y. (CBS/AP) -- Escaped killer David Sweat is in police custody, sources told CBS2 and CBS News.
Sweat was wounded by law enforcement, sources said. He is being transported to Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone.
No officers were injured, sources said. The shooting happened in the town of Constable, which was on the perimeter of the search area.
