Self described as the only organic family farm in Pleasanton, Terra Bella is a local success story. The business started in 2006 on just 1.25 acres of land, but by virtue of hard work and selling produce at local farmers' markets, has moved to a larger farm in the Sunol Valley. Its CSA program has also grown and features pick-up locations in Pleasanton and Livermore. A delivery box may feature seasonal organic produce such as artichokes, broccoli, cauliflower and green beans, with prices starting at $48 for bi-monthly deliveries. In addition to its CSA program, Terra Bella sells produce to regional restaurants, including the award-winning Restaurant at Wente Vineyards in Livermore.
