Giants' Sandoval Unable To Play Catch Due To Cranky Elbow
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (CBS Sports) -- San Francisco Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval had to cut short a Saturday catch-and-throw session because of ongoing right elbow pain.
"If he's not showing improvement tomorrow," said manager Bruce Bochy, "I'll probably be worried."
The Giants are trying to determine whether Sandoval's ailing elbow can heal quickly enough to enable him to participate in the April 1st season opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
